3.5.前半段很明显是继承了22条军规、MASH那一路的反战荒诞黑色幽默闹剧，间或夹杂一些后现代风格的文学史文本reference，后半段则逐渐黑暗沉重且转入Blatty自己的驱魔人那一路数的正邪对抗与基督式自我献身。尽管主题最终不甚高明，但胜在演员动情的表演所带动出来的情感力量以及登月宇航员遇十字架等striking visuals和酒吧一战的强烈张力。
改编自原著 驱魔人三部曲之一〈精神病患〉，战胜心魔才是王者，应该拜读下驱魔人三部原著，注：片头曲 san antone 很好听。感谢悬疑吧字幕翻译者
