Plot Summary:Workers, peasants, soldiers, students and merchants were five groups of Chinese society in the 1950s, after the so-called elimination of the exploited class. Borrowing this concept, the umbrella is taken as the clue to rediscover changes in various social classes after the economic reform, and to analyze the social problems in China. Workers making umbrellas, merchants selling umbrellas, students looking for jobs in the rain. Umbrella is used as a metaphor that can be seen everywhere. As the raindrop, what we see is sometimes clear, sometimes untraceable.

伞厂工人和各种下雨天，看到的尽是疲惫人间。无声工作的工人，排队求职的毕业生，稚气未脱的部队学员，他们略显空虚的状态抓我，想到过去军训、毕业找实习、同样无声工作时的自己。（部队生活那里真是窒息，踊跃起立回答思政教条，却无人知道如何处理受伤。最后一段回到农村，让我想到的不是农民如何如何（反正现在全都脱贫了。），是欣慰他终于熬过来这么多变动。）

其实每段都可以成为长片的。擦鞋那段难忘，农村收割景象挺好。
